Wilhoite Mill Trail at Henry Horton State Park

Hike:

Wilhoite Mill Trail is an easy 0.7 mile trail. This is a great hike for preschoolers that are new to hiking. Also, it is fun for older children and teenagers, especially when you add in the creek stomping.

The ruins of the Wilhoite Mill can be seen from the parking lot.

During the hike there are great bluffs to look out over the Duck River.

At one part of the hike you can get into a creek that feeds into the Duck River. This is a great place to go creek stomping, so bring your water shoes and sandals if the weather is warm!
